I am so glad that you are here. One Sweet Heat is a place for me to chronicle all of my adventures as a newlywed. Mostly, I share recipes because my love for baking & cooking and my desire to create healthy dishes keeps me in the kitchen! While I indulge from time to time, my intent is to take traditional dishes and change up the ingredients to make them healthier, all while not sacrificing the flavor.

So glad to hear that you are happy being married, we are going on 33 years and it is a wonderful ride. We have 4 daughters (all grown) and one dog, Lily, looks like your, Nova. What a joy she is in our life. 4 yrs old yesterday.
